To be compassionate of others is sometimes a challenge for human beings. We tend to
focus on how a situation affects us and not on how it may affect someone near us. It is true, as human beings we are all too often centered within self; we are unable to see the results of our way of being as realized by another person.
When we look inward and reflect on our thinking, feeling and our actions we find that many times the outcome is not what we desired. Why is this? Is our intention all that matters? Will how our actions as they have affected those around us come back to us in a negative way or a positive way? That my brother/sister is entirely up to you! Do you have compassion for others? Is your heart filled with Love or with fear and resentment? Think about it…Think about the times in your life when compassion from another made a difference for you. If you have never felt compassion from another, ask yourself whom you have been compassionate to?
At the risk of repeating myself, I must say that “what ever we think, feel and do is what we bring into our life experience”. If you have never shown compassion to another person and feel resentment because no one has shown you compassion, then you need to look at the seeds you have planted and recognize that you have created your reality as it is. If you have planted seeds of resentment toward another, you will reap resentment from another. If you have planted seeds of hate toward another, you will reap seeds of hate from another.
This is not a theory, a religious belief or any mystical idea. This is the energy you have put out and is the energy you will receive in return. On the other hand the same Universal law of relativity works when we show Love for another. In turn Love will come back to us multiplied. When we are compassionate, we reap compassion. Be what you want to have in your life. Be as you desire others to treat you. Honor others and you will be honored.
Journey On,
